Kids for Laos Orphans, or KiLO for short, is a nonprofit organization that was started by three brothers from Los Angeles. After Andrew, Matthew, and William Liner traveled to Southeast Asia on an educational tour in 2013, they decided to start a nonprofit organization to improve the lives of a group of orphans they met in Laos.
Since that first trip, the Liner boys spent countless hours raising funds and awareness to benefit their new friends. In 2014, they raised enough money to pay for the refurbishment of the bathrooms at the Deak Kum Pa Orphanage in Luang Prabang, Laos. In 2015, they funded the construction of a new dorm that houses 200 children at the Numbuk Orphanage in Nong Khiaw, Laos. During the summer of 2015, the brothers returned to Laos to help paint the newly constructed dorm. Continuing their commitment to the Numbuk Orphanage in Nong Khiaw, in 2016, the Liner boys funded the construction of new bathrooms adjacent to the new dorm.
